You can see the Green River down there. Begins in the Wind River Range of Wyoming. It joins the Colorado 20 miles from here. The Green divides the Island in the Sky District (this side) from the Maze District.
You can also see the White Rim Sandstone, made from ancient inland sea sediments. It's about 1000 feet below us here. You can also see the White Rim Road, a 100-mile 4-wheel-drive backcountry trip.
That butte center frame in the canyon bottom is what's called Turk's Head.
